Course Aims
The overall aims of the course will be decided in consultation
with the group leaders. Typical aims are to develop self
confidence, interpersonal skills and team work, as well
as learning to work together and develop consideration for
others.
Outline Programme
Day 1
Afternoon - Arrive and settle in, followed
by Team Challenge
Evening - /Swim in river
Day 2
Morning - Ropes Course and Archery
Afternoon - Canoeing
and Kayaking
Evening - Night walk and campfire
Day 3
Morning - Rock Climbing and Abseiling
Afternoon - Course review and depart
after lunch
Notes
Team challenges are group problem solving
exercises such as crossing poisonous swamps, defusing bombs,
building bridges and constructing giant jigsaws. The level
of difficulty will be set to challenge the group to the
full.
